Nipman Foundation has been the Accessibility partner to a wide variety of festivals and events including the NH7 Weekender, Jaipur Literature Festival, the Serendipity Arts Festival and the Auto Expo.
ACCESS AUDITS
Nipman Foundation provides accessibility audit services at various organisations. Some of our recent access audits have been at the Tihar Jail and other jails in Delhi, Rajghat, Jammu & Kashmir District and High Courts, The Doon School, Tata and CII. We also successfully lobbied with Zomato to add wheelchair access filters to restaurants.

WORK WITH THE GOVERNMENT
Nipman Foundation’s access auditors have been a part of the access audit team for Delhi Metro, Delhi Haat, Supreme Court of India, Parliament of India and Election Commission. Nipman Foundation regularly plays an advisory role helping formulate NITI Aayog’s (formerly the Indian Planning Commission) disability policy. Nipman Foundation also worked with the Dr. Bibek Debroy ,Railway Restructuring Committee to make railways accessible. It is now working the Hon'ble Delhi High Court to make Delhi, an accessible city. An 'Access to All' module was developed this year in an endeavor to sensitize people about universal access design and the right attitude towards people with disabilities.
